Create received a grant from The Arts Society in 2017 which enabled it to run Nurturing Talent, a professional development programme providing five emerging professional artists with the training and experience to develop creative workshop facilitation skills in diverse and challenging community settings.
The Arts Society Grants
We believe in Arts for All and will use our grants to make a positive contribution to people's lives through the arts. Never has there been a greater need to support our local arts organisations and museums and continue the vital contribution of skills development in the arts and heritage sector.
Our Recent Grants
With the support of a grant from The Arts Society, Project Phakama delivered Rise Up, the peer-led flagship project that gave 16-25 year olds the skills, opportunities and experiences to lead a team of young participants to create a performance from scratch.
