The Arts Society is delighted to have supported Attic Theatre Company with a recent grant helping them put together a series of workshops for young people, despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Originally awarded to create in-person workshops, Attic Theatre Company tackled the unexpected challenge for their project to happen during the lockdown and restrictions in place because of COVID-19.
Creative Art Workshops were delivered online from May to December 2020, giving the young participants a chance to connect, learn and create on Zoom. Workshops focused on boosting confidence, communication & life skills for young people as they begin teenage life.
Attic also implemented Leap! a series of drama workshops resulting in a short film, which you can watch in the player above.
