The Farnham branch of the Arts Society was founded in 1983 and is one of the largest in the country with more than 400 members. Our morning lectures are usually held at 1030 on the third Tuesday of the Month from September through to June in the Farnham Maltings. Our members enjoy high quality illustrated talks on a wide range of subjects in the comfortable surroundings of the Great Hall.
In addition we host regular study mornings where we examine a subject in greater depth and run regular visits to places of interest. Each year a group travel overseas and our recent destinations have included Dresden, Western Sicily, Puglia and the Madrid region. In addition our domestic tours have featured Merseyside and Cornwall.
We have extensive volunteer sections covering Young Arts, Church Recording and Trails and Heritage Conservation.
