The Arts Society Burghley
The Arts Society Burghley is a small, friendly society. It was formed in 2010 as the Burghley Decorative and Fine Arts Society thanks to the dedication of Annette Beeton.
We meet in the Burghley Room of the William Cecil and coffee is available from 10:15.
Our Chair Dr. Janet Clarke and the committee strive to offer an interesting and varied programme of 9 lectures each year between September to June. As optional events and at an additional cost we offer either a Study Day or Special Interest Morning, and also excursions. Trips this year have included a visit to Holdenby House and Doddington Hall and there will be a Study Day on Windsor Castle in Windsor with a lecture in the morning and a visit to the Castle and St. George's Chapel in the afternoon. Information about our forthcoming lectures and events can be found by scrolling down the page. A printable list of our lectures, study day and visits for the year is available in the attachments.
The membership fee for 23 - 24 is £65.00 and our year of lectures begin in September. Existing members' subscriptions are due for renewal on 30th June each year.
If you are interested in joining our waiting list, please contact the membership secretaries by email: burghley@theartssociety.org. We will invite you to a lecture as a guest when we have a space available.
