The Arts Society Burghley is a small, friendly society and we meet in the Ballroom, Stamford Arts Centre, 27 St. Mary's Street, Stamford, Lincolnshire PE9 2DL.  There is step free access to the Ballroom from the side door on St. George's Square.

Lectures are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:45 with the exception of December when it is earlier in the month and this year it will be on 2nd December in 2026.

We strive to offer an interesting and varied programme of 9 lectures each year between September to June. As optional events and at an additional cost we offer either a Study Day or Special Interest Morning, and also excursions. Our Special Interest Morning this season is "Women of the Renaissance" by Sarah Dunant on 21st April 2027 and there will be an extra charge for this event.

The membership fee for 2026-27 is £65.00. Our year of lectures begins in September and the last lecture is in June.

Subscriptions for existing members are due for renewal on 30th June and we must have received your payment by 31st July.
