The Arts Society Henfield Newsletter

No: 19 September 2021

It's a beautiful day today after rather disappointing weather this summer. There is no legislation governing how we behave but, with the very high levels of infection, many of us are rightly cautious.  The decision was made to cancel the outing to the Silk Mill and the Bombay gin factory as many felt that being cooped up in a coach with 40 other people was a risk they were not prepared to take at the moment

The Henfield Hall is open for business and it is up to each hiring group to decide whether they are ready to return and what precautions they put in place.  The TAS-H committee met this afternoon (6th September) and decided that, with certain precautions, we would hold the 13th September meeting in the Hall and not on Zoom

Attending the meeting 13th September

It is assumed that everyone attending will have had two jabs

Please don’t get to the hall before 2pm and, while you are waiting to get logged in, form a nice socially distanced queue.

Please wear a mask to enter the building and when moving around inside

The Hall will be divided and seats will be set in two halves. On the right hand side facing the stage you can sit where you like. On the left single or pairs of chairs will be separated by a chair with a X on it to keep social distancing

You will be shown a seat and then asked not to move. We do not want to have small groups of people chatting

When you are seated, you may remove your mask,

At the end of the meeting please leave in an orderly fashion. If you want to chat please do so in the open air
