Are you interested in the arts and enjoy learning and discovering more? 

We are a welcoming society and can offer you an excellent programme of talks from carefully selected lecturers who are experts in their fields and chosen for their excellent presentation skills and their academic knowledge. The membership subscription for 2021/22 remains at £50.  We welcome guests to individual lectures at £10. Members of other Arts Societies pay £5, on production of their membership card.

In addition to our lecture programme we offer outings, study days and social events and the possibility of conservation opportunities.

On lecture days presentation of our membership card gives us a 10% discount in the cafe at Tennants

As part of your membership you will have:

• · Visits to historic houses, gardens, museums and art galleries
• · Church Recording— an opportunity to learn all about the inside of a church and contribute to a lasting record
• · Young Arts – become involved with projects introducing young people to all aspects of the arts
• · Trails of Discovery- creating guides for children and young people to help explain the interior aspects of historic buildings
• · The Review, the quarterly magazine of The Arts Society
