Welcome to The Arts Society Sarum
President: Mrs Julia Tibbs
Chairman: Peter Hicks MBE
As a member society of The Arts Society our aim is to open wide the door to a whole world of art and cultural appreciation. Through a varied programme of events and meetings we seek to provide our members with great opportunities for enjoyment, learning and involvement.
We have inspiring monthly lectures given by some of the country's top experts, together with days of special interest, educational visits and cultural holidays. The Arts Society is a great way to learn, have fun and make new and lasting friendships.
You can also become involved in worthwhile conservation volunteering projects in churches, museums, castles and stately homes. This could be your chance to join us and discover all that the Society has to offer.
We are a registered charity and actively support Education in the Arts, especially for the young.
We are also part of The Arts Society Wessex Area, and that offers further opportunities for joint activity or interaction with other local societies.
