Day 1 We enjoy an included Behind the Scenes Tour at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford upon Avon. The tour of the RSC begins in the Front of House areas, takes a look at the hidden history of the most seen areas of the building, and introduces visitors to the people and stories that have shaped what the RSC is today. No day at the RSC is the same, so depending on what is happening on the day of your tour, you will get to see a part of the building that is not usually accessible to the public.

Day 2 Today we visit Chatsworth, one of Britain’s best loved historic houses and estates. The garden has evolved over 450 years and includes a famous water feature descending 200 yards down the hill, and the grand rooms in the house contain fine examples of superb craftsmanship and treasures collected over five centuries. During our visit, we see beautiful traditional decorations on the lower floors of the house (our entry time to the house has been confirmed at 11h45), and have the opportunity to explore the festively decorated stalls at the Christmas market.

Day 3 We enjoy a guided tour at the Compton Verney Art Gallery in Warwickshire. Located in the setting of a Grade 1 listed Robert Adam mansion, Compton Verney contains an outstanding collection of British, Neopolitan, Germanic and Chinese paintings.
