The Arts Society Menorca

Enriching lives through the arts

Enriquir la vida a través de las arts

Enriquecer vidas a través de las artes

Finally, the Arts Society Menorca is now fully up and running! Thank you for all your patience and support!

Last Thursday we were formally inaugurated into the Arts Society by Jo Ward our regional Chairman.

Over 80 people attended a sparkling lecture given by Eric Knowles on Lalique:  His collection of fabulous photographs combined with his witty and erudite comments thoroughly entertained both members and guests and got The Society off to a flying start.

Afterwards we were able to enjoy a convivial glass of wine on the terrace - many thanks indeed to all who popped a little something into the donation boxes! - Much appreciated.

All of us on the committee are absolutely delighted with all the support and encouragement we have received for this exciting new cultural venture.  It was a great pleasure to meet you all on Thursday and we look forward to seeing you all at future events - watch this space for more details.

If anyone has any photos that they would like to share with us, please send them to

Best wishes

Alison, Carles, Kate, Victoria, Malcolm and Clive (a.k.a The Committee)
