Welcome to The Arts Society Hamburg

The Arts Society Hamburg e.V. (formerly BRIDFAS of Hamburg e.V.) was founded in 1987 and is a member society of The Arts Society in London, with over 98,000 members in over 410 societies worldwide.

The Arts Society Hamburg e.V. is a charity and promotes the education and appreciation of the Arts and the conservation of our artistic heritage. We offer our members uplifting monthly lectures in English by leading lecturers from the UK . Our season starts in September and runs to the following June. Illustrated lectures cover a wide variety of subjects such as art, architecture, music, furniture, silver, ceramics and many others.

In addition to our monthly lectures, we run a Church Recording group in the English Church of Hamburg, get involved in art projects for young people, offer Study Days and outings to Museums and places of interest. We have links with several major Hamburg Museums. The organisation is run by enthusiastic volunteers who are prepared to give their time to a stimulating and professional organisation.

Come along and join us.
