Our Society is part of THE ARTS SOCIETY, a leading arts education charity supporting  an international network of local Societies which bring people together through a shared curiosity for the arts.     Our monthly lectures are delivered by experts in their field who are approved by the Arts Society.

Membership gives you : -

• 10 lectures per year and access to our Member visits and other events through the year.
• Opportunities to be involved in various volunteering opportunities in local Arts related Comminity and Heritage projects.
• Three Arts related magazines a year, produced by the Arts Society in London containing insightful articles and discounts on travel and other things
• The facility to meet and socialise with like minded people

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month (not July and August ) in the Yorkshire Suite at the Golden Lion, High Street , Northallerton.  Meetings start at 1.45 and the lecture begins at 14.00.  Our lectures are delivered both in person and streamed live via Zoom.

We held our AGM immediately before our November lecture and approved our redrafted constitution which is HERE

Our exciting Community project Children's Art for Herriot Hospice at the Lambert is now complete  The resulting Art has exceeded all our expectations and is now hung in the public spaces of the old Lambert  Hospital, now Herriot Hospice.  During the first week of September these delightful and uplifting works were officially handed over to the Hospice  during a three day public access event.  For news item on the complete project click  HERE
