The award-winning, world-famous Sir Harold Hillier Gardens and Arboretum are set in 180 acres. They were established in 1953 by the distinguished plantsman, Sir Harold Hillier. He created, over many years, one of the most important modern plant collections in the world.
Outstanding features include the splendour of the seasonal planting display, the UK’s largest collections of Champion trees, and the Centenary Boarder which is one of the longest double boarders in the UK.
