‘One man in his time plays many parts’: some of those parts and the scenes not seen.

Simon’s first lucky break was the role of Captain James Bellamy in Upstairs Downstairs, his most recent that of Justin Elliott in The Archers. So in 50 years he’s gone from one cad to another. In between, his career has been a roller coaster ride of successes and flops. Having worked with the likes of Peter Sellers, Joan Collins, David Jason, Nigel Havers, Noel Coward, Judi Dench, Alan Bennett and Glenda Jackson, he’ll be sharing some secrets and maybe, in his own words, dishing some dirt.
