Guided tour of the Albert Hall and then visit to V&A Fragile Beauty Photographic Exhibition

We start with a guided tour of the Albert Hall. We will discover how the building was founded 150 years ago, the royal story that made it happen, and learn how engineering provided the unique sound of the interior. The tour will include certain behind-the-scenes elements, including the royal box and entrance.
We transfer to the Victoria and Albert Museum where we are booked into the Photographic Exhibition entitled Fragile Beauty. This shows over 300 rare prints from the Sir Elton John and David Furnish Collection. It is an unparalleled selection of the world's leading photographers, telling the story of modern and contemporary photography.
This wonderful collection features key moments in history, including images of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960's, the Aids problem of the 1980's and the shock of 9/11. There are many iconic images across such topics as fashion, celebrity and the male body!
The fee of £45 includes the coach journeys, the tour of the Royal Albert Hall and entry tickets for the Photography Exhibition.

We leave from the Thame Cattle Market at 9:00 am, with a pickup at Aston Rowant at 9:10 am. We should arrive back at Thame by 6:30 pm.
Guests are welcome if space is available.
The booking form is in the centrefold.
You must apply before 30th July 2024. Book early to avoid disappointment.
