My interest in the Arts & Crafts Movement, and William Morris in particular, began in my teenage years when I fell in love with Morris’s textile prints. After reading many biographies and publications about the great designer, I fell in love with the man. In 2009 I turned my passion for the Arts & Crafts Movement into a career by starting my own business selling home interiors in the style of the Arts & Crafts era.
I have been lecturing about topics relating to the Arts & Crafts Movement for over 8 years. I am an active member of the following Arts & Crafts Movement related societies: The William Morris Society, The Friends of Red House, The Friends of the William Morris Gallery, The Arts & Crafts Movement in Surrey association and The Voysey Society. I am a Trustee of the William Morris Society and Chair of their Business Development Committee. I have a BA (Hons) in Social Psychology from the University of Sussex, 1989.
