We are currently running a monthly virtual lecture via ZOOM.
The Arts Society Egerton was founded in 2001 to provide local residents with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the arts. Currently we have 230 members from Egerton and surrounding villages and no waiting list.
Our programme includes lectures on arts related topics, study days for more in-depth learning and visits to museums, galleries and country houses.
There is a Church Recording group who are currently recording the contents of St Peter and St Paul, in Charing. We have also supported young people in our Arts for the Young programme.
We meet on the second Wednesday of the month from September through until June in the Millennium Hall, Egerton. The lectures start promptly at 2.30pm with tea and biscuits being served afterwards. There is ample free car parking.
Membership costs £40 per annum for individuals and £70 per annum for couples. If you wish to join please email: egerton@theartssociety.org
Existing members are encouraged to bring guests, at a cost of £5.00 per lecture.
The £5 will be refunded should the guest decide to join the society.
