Explore the brilliance of the old and the new in British architecture.

This a chance for us to explore old and new as we examine the very best of British architects from the 17th century to the present day.

In these two one-hour lectures, we take an informative and lively examination of some brilliant British architects and their legacy. It is not a technical morning, but colourful and fun.

We will hear about works by Christopher Wren, Edwin Lutyens, George Gilbert Scott, Thomas Heatherwick, Zaha Hadid, Norman Foster and many others. We live in the world they created.

Many of the buildings are in the UK but we also see some spectacular projects by Britisharchitects around the world.
