Join us for an Isle of Wight break in June/July 2019 - a very long weekend of five days exploring some well known sights but also going off the beaten track. The tour includes executive coaching throughout, ferry crossings, dinner, bed and breakfast at a sought after beach front hotel, two days with an erudite and entertaining Blue Badge Guide and all admissions.

The sightseeing programme is designed to be comfortable for anyone who hasn’t

been too lucky in the hips and knees lottery. We enjoy two of the Island’s most famous attractions - Osborne House and the Haven Street Steam Railway but we also Dimbola Lodge the home of the pioneering Victorian photographer Julia Margaret Cameron and the newly opened Farringford House, beloved Island retreat of Victoria's friend and subject, Alfred, Lord Tennyson. There will be some free time in yachty Cowes with a visit to the quirky Max Aitken Museum housed in an 18th century sail-maker’s loft.

This four night break is being organised by Linda Drabble for the Arts Society Uckfield Lewes and Newick in partnership with City & Village Tours.
