TAS Sevenoaks Heritage Trail at St Giles, Shipbourne
Volunteers from The Arts Society Sevenoaks created a Heritage Trail of Discovery at St Giles, Shipbourne tracing the history of the Cazalets, a Huguenot family that moved to the area in the eighteenth century.
There was a very successful launch of our Heritage Trail following the Mothering Sunday service at St Giles' Shipbourne on 10 March.
There was also a small exhibition in the side chapel, saying more about the Cazalets and their involvement with the community. It also says what happened to the paintings when the Cazalets moved out of their "seat" in the 1970s. One of the paintings is now owned by Barbra Streisand.
