Friends of the Library in Olney (FoLiO) children's theatre project

STOP PRESS 9 October 2021: After delay due to Covid-19 this event has now been rescheduled for performance on 21 May 2022. 

FoLiO is a group of community volunteers formed to add value to the Library and keep it at the heart of the community. They work with Milton Keynes Libraries and Olney Town Council to run a programme of activities including regular Saturday events for children.

The Arts Society North Bucks discussed with FoLiO in autumn 2019 their potential support for a childrens’ project and have now made a donation of £500 to FoLio. The money will be used to support an exciting theatre performance for youngsters by The Rhubarb Theatre Company, who will perform ‘Henry Moon and the Greasy Spoon’, as part of their national tour (a play suitable for children from 5-12 and their parents).

The Rhubarb Theatre company brings live theatre to local communities and schools all over the UK. They focus on lively storytelling, creative use of song, dance and puppetry brought together to provide an engaging theatrical experience for their young audiences in a convenient local environment.

Tickets £5 per adult, children (max. 3 per adult) free.
