Welcome to the Arts Society Wensum.

Our Society normally holds nine monthly lectures (September-November; January- June) and a Christmas lecture. The lectures are held at two venues: the Assembly House (morning) and Norwich Castle (afternoon), both in the centre of Norwich, and both easily accessible by bus.  There are also ample car parks near to both venues.  Coffee is available before the start of the lectures.  Full details of all our 2026-27 season lectures and events can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

We also arrange Special Interest Days and day visits to places of interest.  Each autumn we organise a 3-4 day visit to another destination. Our visit for 2026 is to see the work of Flemish Masters in Bruges, Antwerp and Ghent. See tour details here.

We also support young arts locally and have recently completed our programme of events for the forthcoming year (see the Events links below).
