Celebrating Creativity and Diversity with Local Schools
The Arts Society Ribble & Craven is proud to have recently supported an inspiring art project with pupils from Bolton-by-Bowland and Grindleton primary schools.
Led by artist Bella Chesney, every child took part in designing and creating a vibrant silk hanging on the theme of Diversity. The finished artworks are not only beautiful, but also thoughtful reflections of individuality and unity – we think they’re absolutely delightful.
After years of dedication and craftsmanship by the Society's talented 'Stitchers', under the expert guidance of Maureen King, we are thrilled to unveil the stunning set of tapestries showcasing the Seasons in our region. These beautiful works have been carefully prepared for exhibition and professionally framed to highlight their intricate details.
Below, you can see photographs of the finished pieces, and we’re sure you’ll agree—they’re absolutely spectacular! A heartfelt congratulations goes out to everyone who contributed to this remarkable project.
