A TAPESTRY JOURNEY FOR RIBBLE AND CRAVEN

After months of dedication and craftsmanship by the Society's talented 'Stitchers', under the expert guidance of Maureen King, we are thrilled to unveil the stunning set of tapestries showcasing the Seasons in our region. These beautiful works have been carefully prepared for exhibition and professionally framed to highlight their intricate details.

Below, you can see photographs of the finished pieces, and we’re sure you’ll agree—they’re absolutely spectacular! A heartfelt congratulations goes out to everyone who contributed to this remarkable project.

Thanks to a generous grant from The Arts Society’s national funds, we were able to cover the significant costs of framing these pieces to ensure they are presented as they truly deserve.

The original tapestries will be displayed at The Platform Gallery in Clitheroe, before embarking on an exciting tour to libraries, galleries, and other public venues. Trust us, these pieces are a must-see and well worth a visit!
