For the 2023/2024 A Level Art Competition we decided to take things online. This means that more people would be able to see the resulting exhibition and that we would be able to show all the works entered and not just those that were short-listed.
Over the summer, our Societies nominated artworks created by A Level Art students from their local schools and colleges. We received over 100 entries, and these were short-listed to 15 in autumn by our judging panel. The standard of artworks which included paintings, ceramic, photography, and sculpture was incredible and the panel had an extremely difficult task when it came to short-listing the entries. It is a testament to the talent of the students and those that teach them.
Voting for this year's competition has now closed. We will announce the results and launch the gallery featuring all of the artworks entered here shortly.
