Photo Competition

The Arts Volunteering project for 2022 was a photography competition organised with Focus on Young People in Bassetlaw, on What My Community Means to Me. There were 3 age categories and the Arts Society Dukeries provided money for a £50 prize in each category. The winners were James age 12 in 8 to 12, Ema(correct spelling) age 14 in 13 to 15, and Finch age 16 in 16 to 18. The standard was very high and the judges were very impressed by the quality of the photos. The photos of the winners and highly commended entrants are on display in the Bassetlaw Museum and the Civic Centre Carlton in Lindrick until the new year if you wish to see them.
