Using a Comminuty Grant, The Arts Society Bury St Edmunds supported Howard Community Academy and well-known local artist Alfie Carpenter to work with the children. Alfie Carpenter specialises in mixed-media collage, a technique well-suited to working with groups and children. They worked together to produced large murals.

Since the launch our of Community grants initiative, we've supported a wide range of activities. All of our Community Grants are intended to make a difference in the arts in our local communities and are made possible by the enthusiasm and hard work of our local Societies.
