John Atkinson Grimshaw Study Day

Members and guests enjoyed three lectures on John Atkinson Grimshaw. Tim Stimson told how the railway worker from Leeds, to the dismay of his parents, gave up a job with the Great Northern Railway to become a painter. Today he is considered to be one of the most accomplished nightscape artists of all times.
