Embracing the the wide community of Romney Marsh (Kent) a grant from The Arts Society contributed towards the inspirational multi-arts events run by JAM boosting access to the arts in the local area.
Curated by Daniel Cook, Master of the Choristers of Durham Cathedral, the JAM on the Marsh events included music, theatre, photography, arts and more in locations across the marshland from Hythe to Dungeness.
JAM delievered concerts featuring Canterbury Cathedral Girls' Choir, BBC Singers and the world premiere of the JAM festival comission "Songs from the Marshes" by Rory Boyle broadcast on Radio 3 as well as educational projects, art exhibitions and poetry recitals.
Engaging the local community and further afield, JAM on the Marsh made these events accessible to those who may otherwise not have the opportunity to engage in the arts.
