BERLIN 1912-1932 Guided Tour

BERLIN 1912-1932 Guided Tour

13 Jan 2019

Just had a wonderful guided tour with Natalie Arsenow, whom you will know from Art for Everyone, making it well worth setting out on a dull and rainy day.

Indeed, she gave us food for thought, with such an interactive tour of the exhibition "Berlin 1912-1932" highlighting the reality of an era with more than 200 major artworks by Otto Dix, Raoul Hausmann, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, George Grosz, starting off the tour with an untitled sculpture in plaster by David Altmejd, explaining the Dada mouvement, architecture of the city, with emphasis on the work from Rudolf Belling who was rated as being degerative art, and finishing the tour with the magnificent painting from Max Beckman, representing relaxation and beauty, so important in art.

The exhibition is on until 27th January 2019.
