About The Arts Society Mallorca

We hold six Talks with a Drinks & Tapas reception afterwards, between October and June. We also arrange visits to palaces, gardens, concerts, vineyards and also 'hands on' art events throughout the year.

                     All Talks are at The Artmadams Hotel, Palma, start time: 7.30pm

7th October 2025 

A Talk by Tom Duncan 'Romans, Moors and Christians - Andalucia and its Golden Age'

4th November 2025

Bertie Pearce -  The Dancing Faun

The extraordinary tale of how a small bronze statue, which had been in Bertie's Grandfather’s garden for 40 years, was discovered as a masterpiece and is now in the Getty Museum, California

The talks are followed by a Drinks and Tapas Reception

Tickets for guests are available -  €25 is payable on the door (if space is available after Member booking).

More about our speakers:

Our speakers are world-class experts in a huge variety of subjects covering Arts and Culture: painting, architecture, music, fashion, jewellery, sculpture and much more, from ancient to modern. They present their material in a down to earth way, accessible to all. The drinks and tapas reception after the talk is always a great opportunity for our members and friends to get to know each other through the Society. 

As a member you have priority booking for talks and events and receive the excellent quarterly Arts Society magazine.

Non member guests are very welcome to the talks for €20, payable on the door. Please email us first to check if there is space at the event but we always give priority to our Society members.

The Arts Society Music Monthly, produced by Committee member Mike Troke, showcases a selection of the best concerts each month and is a must for lovers of music, from classical to jazz.

                                                   MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

Our society relies on membership contributions in order to be able to offer our exciting line up of events.  

The Annual Membership Fee for the 2025/2026 season is €110   
Memberships run on an annual basis from October.

Membership includes entry to lecture events and priority booking for other events throughout the year. We do not refund for unavoidable cancelled events (eg Speaker illness). The membership fee is not a Pro Rata payment for the Talks but represents membership to all events we stage.

Members also receive the quarterly Arts Society magazine with informative articles, news and reviews of exhibitions, offers for art related courses and cultural trips.  These are sent to members, one per membership. Membership is not transferrable.

Please note that our registered name in Mallorca is La Sociedad de los Artes Mallorca.
