About The Arts Society Mallorca

We hold six Talks with a Drinks & Tapas reception afterwards, between October and June. We also arrange visits to palaces, gardens, concerts, vineyards and also 'hands on' art events throughout the year.

Midas PR Founder and Chairman Tony Mulliken is a leading light in the world of book PR and publishing and has worked with hundreds of authors from every genre. As the leading Book PR company in the UK,  Midas’ clients have included The London Book Fair, The Sharjah International Book Fair, The Frankfurt Book Fair, The British Book Awards, Hay Festival, and the Cheltenham Festival. Tony Mulliken’s insight into getting a book published and reaching its audience will be of interest to aspiring authors and published authors alike. Listed in Who’s Who, Tony’s publishing career spans 50 years. 

This event is a unique opportunity to benefit  from his wealth of experience - and hear some of the wonderful stories associated with the authors Tony has promoted.

The 45 minute talk will be followed by questions from the audience and a Drinks and Tapas Reception

Our speakers are world-class experts in a huge variety of subjects covering Arts and Culture: painting, architecture, music, fashion, jewellery, sculpture and much more, from ancient to modern. They present their material in a down to earth way, accessible to all. The drinks and tapas reception after the talk is always a great opportunity for our members and friends to get to know each other through the Society. 

As a member you have priority booking for talks and events and receive the excellent quarterly Arts Society magazine.

Guests (non members) are very welcome to the talks for €20, payable on the door. Please email us first to check if there is space at the event but we always give priority to members.

The Arts Society Music Monthly, produced by Committee member Mike Troke, showcases a selection of the best concerts each month and is a must for lovers of music, from classical to jazz.

                                                   MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

Our society relies on membership contributions in order to be able to offer our exciting line up of events.  

The Annual Membership Fee for the 2024/2025 season is €100 (single) €190 (Couple membership) Guest tickets for lectures are €20.  

Memberships run on an annual basis from October, the start of the new season.
Membership cards can be collected at the first lecture event following subscription.

Membership includes entry to lecture events, and priority booking for other events throughout the year.

Members also receive the quarterly Arts Society magazine with informative articles, news and reviews of exhibitions, offers for art related courses and cultural trips.  These are sent to members, one per membership. Membership is not transferrable.
