EMILY ALLCHURCH: RE-IMAGING THE MASTERS
Emily’s visual presentation will talk through her creative pro- cess developed over two decades, using photography and digital collage to recreate Old Master prints and paintings from a contemporary perspective. She will examine how this technique has formed a useful device for her own explora- tions around landscape and architecture, updating the nar-
rative and fusing contemporary life with a sense of history.

Emily Allchurch
Born in Jersey, now living in Hastings, Emily has an MA from the Royal College of Art and has exhibited regularly in solo and group shows in the UK and internationally. Her works are held in public and private collections worldwide, most notably the British Museum, the Royal Academy of Arts, and the Museum of London, UK, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, USA, the Tokai- do Hiroshige Museum, Japan and the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Nancy, France.
