Art Fusion: The Arts Society Mallorca’s New Platform for Artists and Art Lovers

On Thursday, 26 February 2026, the Arts Society Mallorca proudly launched Art Fusion, its first exhibition under the leadership of our new Chair and Committee, at the Hotel Artmadams Skylight Gallery in Palma.

Art Fusion was conceived as a vibrant platform to establish and strengthen connections with artists across Mallorca, while promoting and celebrating local talent in all its diversity. The exhibition brought together 26 Mallorquin and Mallorca-based artists, showcasing an inspiring range of work—from paintings and sculpture to decorative art—reflecting multiple genres and styles.

The evening was a great success, attracting more than 100 visitors and creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Guests of all generations mingled, engaged in conversation, and enjoyed the rich variety of artwork on display.

Our curator, Gudula Becker—herself an artist—did an outstanding job coordinating the exhibition. From liaising with the artists to arranging the artwork, her dedication and vision were instrumental in making the event possible. We are also deeply grateful to Lluc and the Hotel Artmadams for generously placing the Skylight Gallery at our disposal.

The event was warmly opened by our Society’s Chair, Gail Davies, alongside committee member Steve Cochran, who welcomed guests and invited them to join the Society as it embarks on this exciting new chapter.

Art Fusion marked a promising beginning for our renewed mission: to be an association known for fostering creativity, building artistic connections, and celebrating the vibrant cultural life of Mallorca.
