SPLENDID JOURNEY'S - THE ART OF OPULENT TRAVEL | ANDREW PRINCE

Throughout history, travelling and journeys have been used to display wealth, power and status of monarchs and aristocrats using lavish and opulent modes of transport. We will learn how diplomatic meetings between rival kings were turned into a contest of who could outshine the other.
