CIDER HOUSE POTTERY AT GODOLPHIN HOUSE - THURSDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER

 

We will explore some of the beautiful pots from the Godolphin collection and hear more about the journey of Cider House Pottery through a captivating oral interview with Mike Dodd.  To attend simply arrive at Godolphin House and purchase your entry.  Entry and parking are free for National Trust Members or £13 for non-members.

This is an informal gathering and a chance to meet up with other members to explore the Cider House Pottery and enjoy the grounds. The main house will be closed. The tea room will be open for those who would like to partake.

At Godolphin House we will venture into the King’s Room and uncover the fascinating story of the Cider House Pottery, which brought creativity and craftsmanship to Godolphin between 1975 and 1979.

We will explore some of the beautiful pots from the Godolphin collection and hear more about the journey of Cider House Pottery through a captivating oral interview with Mike Dodd.

The Cider House Pottery was the brainchild of Peter Schofield, son of Godolphin’s owners Mary and Sydney, and was run by Peter and his friend Mike Dodd.
