Following the referendum in favour of leaving the European Union I want to reassure all Societies in Europe that we will work closely with you to build mechanisms for the seamless continuation of your role and participation within NADFAS. Naturally we will have to monitor further developments over the coming months and years and assess how this may impact on the legal and financial status of Societies; however, the UK’s decision does not mean that the bonds between our European Societies and the rest of NADFAS will be severed, and our aim must now be to support you within the emerging legal frameworks.

In the meantime, we suggest that you carry on as usual and enjoy NADFAS lectures, study days and volunteering opportunities.
