Coventry

The Arts Society Coventry was due to open this autumn but because of the Corona virus, this has had to be postponed. We are very pleased to announce that all being well, the Society will hold its inaugural lecture on 23rd March 2021 when Lynn Gibson will give her lecture “Women in Art: Gentileschi to Emin” at The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum.

Peter Elias and his team are working hard on preparations for what will be an excellent addition to the cultural life of Coventry when it is City of Culture next year.

Guernsey

We are delighted to announce that on 23rd September 2020 The Arts Society Guernsey will be holding its inaugural lecture.

Members will gather at the Society’s venue Les Cotils in St Peter Port and the lecture, Broken by Life: The Paintings of Vincent van Gogh will be given by Stella Lyons. Due to restrictions on people entering Guernsey, Stella’s lecture will be delivered via Zoom from her home on the mainland.
