The Marsh Awards

Every year the Marsh Christian Trust recognises some of the outstanding contributions made by volunteers of The Arts Society in the field of heritage conservation and arts education.

This national award scheme is an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication of those actively engaged with Arts Volunteering, Heritage Volunteering, Trails of Discovery, or running a Society who give the extra effort that makes a difference.

In spring each year, we invite our Society Committees to put forward individuals or groups of volunteers who are supporting arts education or heritage conservation or serving on a Society Committee who have gone the extra mile to make a difference to a local organisation or to their members and deserve consideration for a special award.

The awards are announced in the summer, with a special ceremony held later in the year.
