The Arts Society Mallorca is the local chapter of a UK-based international association of 65,000 members dedicated to fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the arts and culture. We are a multinational, English-speaking community of art enthusiasts in the broadest sense, committed to promoting greater awareness and knowledge of the vibrant arts scene on the island. Our aim is to explore and celebrate the arts in all their diversity, including the rich cultural heritage of Spain, a place many of us are proud to call home.

The Art Society Talks and Events
We organize various talks by The Art Society's accredited speakers as well as a wide range of social events and activities from informal drop-ins to in-depth study days. Please, scroll down to our events calendar, or download the attachments for a full programme of our talks and activites in the season of 2025/2026.

Our speakers are world-class experts in a huge variety of subjects covering Arts and Culture: painting, architecture, music, fashion, jewellery, sculpture and much more, from ancient to modern. They present their material in a down to earth way, accessible to all. The talks are followed by a Drinks and Tapas Reception - an opportunity to meet the speaker and fellow Art enthusiasts.

All Talks are at The Artmadams Hotel, Carrer del Marquès de la Sènia, 34, 07014 Palma de Mallorca, start time: 7.30pm

• Talks and reception are free for members
• €25 for guests, payable at the door (if space is available after member booking).

The Arts Society Book Club
We meet once a month at the Hotel Artmadams to discuss a wide range of literary works. Members and friends are welcome. The literary discussions often continue over lunch at the hotel's restaurant. Please contact Gail Davies for more details: asmbookclub@gmail.com 

The Arts Society Music Monthly
This newsletter produced by our member Mike Troke showcases a selection of the best concerts each month and is a must for lovers of music, from classical to jazz. Download the attachment for the latest edition.
 

BECOMING A MEMBER

Our society relies on membership contributions in order to be able to offer our exciting line up of events. The Annual Membership Fee for the 2025/2026 season is €110. 

Membership includes:

• An excellent programme of 6 lectures delivered by The Arts Society accredited lecturers. A tapas & drinks reception after the talks is included.
• The quarterly Arts Society Magazine with informative articles, news and reviews of exhibitions. 
• Highlights: Several short articles on art sent by email by The Arts Society UK.
• Become an Expert on ..: regular articles by one of The Arts Society lecturers sent to you by email by The Arts Society UK.
• A wide range of social events and activities organized by local members and the committee.
