Peter Tarshis, an experienced leader of walks who lives in Brighton, has kindly offered to give members of the Society a Walking Tour of the South Bank in London. The Tour will include:
Guy’s Hospital,
Keats’ House,
The Lunatick Chair,
The Cross Bones Graveyard,
various medieval taverns (or the sites of),
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and
Tate Modern.
A light lunch can be bought in Borough Market, where there are a number of food outlets.
We will meet at Brighton Station at 10:00 am on Thursday 17 April to catch the 10:14 Thameslink train to London Bridge.
There is no charge for the tour and participants will only need to buy their own train tickets and any refreshments and lunch.
