Winners of National Award - The Arts Society Shrewsbury

As Chairman, I am honoured and delighted to tell you all that the Committee of The Arts Society Shrewsbury has been selected as the winner of The Arts Society’s Committee Marsh Award 2019.

The judges were impressed with the range of volunteering activities undertaken by the [committee] members and their support of and involvement with different organisations in the local community. “Shrewsbury Society clearly understands and embraces the values of The Arts Society and demonstrates them through the impact they have on the community around Shrewsbury.”

We are very grateful to the judges for their recognition of the hard work, inspiration and dedication of the committee, and we look forward to receiving the award which will be presented at the National AGM in London on May 15th. Congratulations to your committee!
