Visit to Devon
Visit to Devon
22 May 2019
Members enjoyed a five day visit to Devon staying in Exeter. On the outward journey we visited Hidcote Gardens near Chipping Campden and on the return journey Hanbury Hall in Worcestershire was our stopping point. Whilst in Exeter we enjoyed a guided walking tour of Exeter, a tour of the Cathedral and a visit to RAMM, Royal Albert Memorial Museum. Further afield we had a tour of Plymouth, seeing the Hoe and the Brunnell bridge spanning the River Tamar and made visits to RHS Rosemoor, Dartington crystal and Cotehele where a delicious cream tea was enjoyed. Our thanks to Diana Turnbull for planning such an excellent tour and to Pamela Edwards for looking after us so well.
