Star Students on show at Mall Galleries

22 Mar 2018

Our Star Students exhibition, featuring the work of fantastic young artists, opened at the Mall Galleries earlier this week. The works will be shown alongside those of professional artists at the RBA’s Annual Exhibition.

Developed with the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), the exhibition promotes 20 aspiring young artists who were initially proposed by The Arts Society's local Societies, to then be selected by the RBA from 272 entries. The finalists were selected for their exceptional works which combine the highest levels of skill, expression and draughtsmanship using a variety of medium exploring equally varied subjects.

The selected students are Emma Phillips, Simran Ahira, Phoebe Hedges, Heather Pittaway, Boris Takam, Juod Habib-Allah, Rob Borrett, Lucy Zini, Nathaniel Lovett, Hannah Logue, Abigail McGouley, Jessie Mitchell, Martha Walmsley, Robert Mills, Imogen Budd-Thiemann, Jasmyn Fraser, Lauren Reed, Jessica Turner, Izzy Crouch, Emily Eeles.

Congratulations to Izzy Crouch who was awarded the Richard Ingram Memorial Prize for a Young Artist for her painting The Three Lydias.
