SCULPT - A NEW KIND OF ART EXPERIENCE
SCULPT - A NEW KIND OF ART EXPERIENCE
21 May 2019
The North East Area, together with Wensleydale, N.Yorks & S. Durham and Hambleton Societies, are sponsoring the Sculpt:Art in the Churches Education Days, principally paying for school art materials and transport.
In the mornings listed below, children from the local school will visit their nearest church, where they will meet the artist and discuss the art work. They will then return to their school and with the artist create related art works of their own. In the afternoons, the artist will be back in the churches from 2.00-3.30 pm to present and discuss their work with older students and adults. The Arts Society will be helping to host these events and everyone is welcome.
