Our First New Members as The Arts Society
 
Scarborough New Members had a taste of the joy of attending their first Arts Society lecture in a new programme year under our new rebranded name.
 
On a crisp but sunny day at our November 2017 lecture we invited our new members to meet our Committee for coffee prior to our very enjoyable and informative lecture by Ann Clements on “In the Bleak Midwinter:  Artists’ Responses to Snow”.  Before joining our lecturer and many of our members in the dining room for our post lecture lunch, our new members were happy to smile and pose with our Committee for their annual website photograph.
