Felicitas Wagner, who won our Emerging Artist Award at Penwith College's Art and Design Student Show "Objects of vertu" in June this year, has had her work entitled "Feathered Fight" accepted for exhibition in London as part of the RBA (The Royal Society of British Artists) Star Student Competition.

Over 200 entries were submitted from Art Society branches across the UK and Europe for the competition, including paintings, ceramics and sculpture, to be judged by the RBA Council members.

The quality of work was so high that the judges split the winning works into two groups. The first group will be displayed at the Royal Over-Seas League in St James only and the second group, which combine the highest levels of skill, expression and draughtsmanship, will be displayed at the ROSL and also at The Mall Galleries, alongside those of professional artists.

Only 20 works were chosen for display at both galleries and Felicitas' work is one of those. So we offer her hearty congratulations! The exhibitions will be held in London between April and July next year.
