MEMORY TRAIL
MEMORY TRAIL
25 Apr 2019
Our Dukeries Society Trails of Discovery team recently returned to St John’s church, Carlton in Lindrick, where we made a Children’s Trail in 2017. Our visit this time was to work on a Memory Trail for people living with dementia. This is a fairly new venture for Trails of Discovery and is designed to evoke memories and prompt conversation with family or carers when visiting the church. The trail, the first one produced in the East Midlands region, has now been completed, and copies have been left with the church and with the local Memory Café, run by the Alzheimer’s Society at the Civic Centre in Carlton in Lindrick.
