We had a very successful visit to Ickworth this Autumn. We were met by a National Trust guide who explained how our day was planned.

We started with a fascinating glimpse in to the life below stairs with a tour of the rooms used to service ‘upstairs’. This was guided by a very knowledgeable volunteer who told us many interesting details of how this magnificent house was run.

After an excellent lunch in the cafe we were free to tour the house and gardens until our coach returned in the afternoon.
