Koestler

Each year for the last 17 years the Greater London Area has made a donation to the Koestler Trust for awards in their annual arts competition. The Koestler Trust supports arts activities in UK prisons and other secure institutions. This benefits many people; those who take part, giving them some enjoyable and beneficial time, and perhaps finding latent talent; and those who enjoy seeing their works displayed at the exhibition at the Royal Festival Hall in the autumn, and increasingly in exhibitions in other parts of the UK. ​
