In our last issue we interviewed glass artist Dale Chihuly, whose Chihuly: Reflections on nature has opened at Kew Gardens. Visitors can discover his pieces around the Gardens and in the glasshouses, and there is also a special exhibition of his works inside Kew’s Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art. Chihuly: Reflections on nature is supported by DS Automobiles. Kew Gardens is offering a 20% discount on entry tickets until 31 July. To claim, present your membership card at the Gardens entrance.

Set within the gardens of The Old Rectory, Quenington, Fresh Air Sculpture Show is a showcase of contemporary sculpture. It brings together more than 130 works, from ceramic installations across the river to willow pieces. As part of the event, a series of workshops for students and adults will also take place.
